Shipping & Delivery
Absolute Solutions and Associates works with our suppliers and takes extra effort to ensure that your shipments arrive safely and on time. We make every effort to keep your shipping costs as low as possible. When available, we package items together for a single shipment. Shipping charges are calculated and paid for at the time of checkout. We ship products within the Continental United States. If you wish to ship outside the Continental United States (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or US territories) or to an International location, please contact us for assistance. We do offer expedited shipping for additional cost for delivery on business days (Monday through Friday). If you require expedited shipping, please contact us prior to completing your order. Absolute Solutions and Associates uses different shipping companies (UPS, FedEx, etc) to ship our products based on location of products being shipped and shipping address. For larger items, we may use common carrier. For this reason, we calculate shipping charges based on total weight of the products ordered based on the table below. If you have any questions regarding shipping, please contact us for assistance. Depending upon your location, in-stock items will take 2-6 business days to arrive after your order is accepted and processed. Common freight carrier shipments will arrive 5-15 days after your order is accepted and processed. UPS, FedEx or common freight carrier deliveries are not available on Saturday or Sunday. After you place an order, we will provide you shipping information. We will contact you if there are any issues with your order.

At the time of delivery you are expected to inspect your order carefully. You should confirm the accuracy of the order and verify that all products have arrived in satisfactory condition. Do not sign for and/or do not accept receipt of any products that are visibly damaged. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours. Cherokee Industrial Online cannot accept responsibility for any damaged product once you sign for a delivery, but we will work with you to resolve the claim with the carrier. Claims for damages and/or errors must be made with the carrier within 48 hours of receipt. Larger items may be shipped by Common Carriers. The Carrier will call you in advance to arrange a delivery time for curbside delivery only. If there are larger items or large orders please make sure you have made arrangements in advance to have someone accept and inspect the order. It is very important that you inspect these common carrier deliveries thoroughly before signing for them. Inspect the boxes for external damage, remove the packaging and inspect the contents for any physical damage in the presence of the delivery driver. If there is any damage, visible or not, you must indicate such on the delivery receipt. If a product appears to be damaged to the point that it cannot be used - do not accept it. If you discover internal (non-visible) damages after the delivery has been signed for, please notify us immediately and also the common carrier. Your satisfaction is important to us. We will work with you to replace and/or correct any product that is refused upon delivery and/or any errors in shipping. If you have any questions regarding your delivery, please contact us.
CORPORATE FREIGHT PROGRAM
For inbound shipments to a Absolute Solutions and Associates Distribution Center (DC) facility, follow the guidelines below to help you understand Absolute Solutions and Associates receiving policies and procedures.
Please also be certain to schedule an inbound delivery appointment for all deliveries more than 8 skids by emailing email@example.com with the carrier name, vendor name, delivery destination, size of load and Absolute Solutions and Associates purchase order number (example J423-1234). Original paperwork, such as the packing slip and BOL, along with driver identification must be presented at time of delivery. Same day appointments are not available; loads without appointments will be rejected.

Small pack or parcel shipments that typically ship via UPS or FedEx are not efficient modes of transport and receipt into our Distribution Centers (DCs). Considerable packaging, multiple shipment tracking numbers and small boxes increase the risk of loss, damage and exhaust resources to receive. Unless a specific item is being expedited, we ask that every effort is made to not ship to our distribution facilities in small pack mode, rather always ship via a truck load mode.
Less Than Truckload, or LTL, shipments are those typically less than 10,000 pounds or encompass less than 20 feet of trailer space. Larger shipments could incur volume fees from LTL carriers and should therefore be shipped via a truckload carrier. As with small pack being inefficient, LTL is as well. We request every effort be made to ship truckload.
However, if LTL is necessary, for domestic LTL we have two primary partnerships with Saia and Estes.
Corporately based out of Richmond, Virginia, Estes has been shipping freight since 1931. Currently, operating at 98% service level both in and outbound, they have direct coverage of nearly every zip code within the US.
Headquartered in Atlanta, Saia has grown and made many great strides in service throughout the US, covering 34 states (there is no New England coverage, from Virginia northward). Similar to Estes, Saia has near 99% on time service records across the network.

APPROVED LTL CARRIER LIST
For truckload, we have partnered with UPS Freight Truckload in a dedicated capacity. There are also backhaul opportunities available in some lanes to make inbound deliveries to our DCs. If you are interested in taking advantage of a UPS Freight backhaul, please contact your Supply Chain Analyst or the Transportation Team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As a secondary resource, we also utilize C.H. Robinson out of their Roanoke, Virginia office.
